Introduction

Lead by internationally renowned IC technologists, Availink has been widely acknowledged by its customers as a “demodulator expert” since its inception. In 2008, the company’s first demodulator chip contributed tremendously to the success of early-stage direct-to-home satellite TV broadcasting, enabling dozens of home entertainment programs to reach millions of households in remote and mountainous countryside in China.

Over the following years, the company has successfully introduced a variety of chipsets to comply with DTMB, DVB-T/T2/S/S2/C, ISDB-T and J83.B standards as well as the MPEG-2/H.264/AVS/AVS+ decoding standards. The company also offers multimedia SoCs. These are designed to tap into traditional satellite, terrestrial, and cable TV broadcasting but also those Internet TV applications such as OTT (over-the-top) which support multi-screen interaction, Internet surfing, audio/video downloading, and wireless and mobile features in the form of mini-sized set-top-boxes.
